“A Tribute to Women”
featuring singer "Howard Hewitt"
March 30th, 2007
The Triangle East Chapter of 100 Black Men of America, Inc. is pleased to present their 2007 Gala, “A Tribute to Women”, a scholarship fundraiser and awards banquet that enables us to provide scholarships to deserving students and fund our programs in the areas of mentoring, economic development, health and wellness and education. The theme of this year’s Gala – A Tribute to Women - celebrates the outstanding contributions of Triangle women. This year the Sheraton Imperial Center Hotel in Durham, NC adjacent to the Research Triangle Park will host the 2007 Gala on Saturday, April 21, 2007 from 5:30pm – 1:00am. Entertainment includes the famous R&B and gospel solo recording artist Howard Hewitt and North Carolina’s own jazz vocalist/actress Maria Howell as well as the popular DJ 360.
The 2007 Annual Scholarship and Awards Gala is our largest fundraising event of the year. It brings together business leaders, students, award honorees, as well as the entire Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill community.
The 2007 Gala tickets can be purchased online at http://100blackmentriangle.org/gala until April 17th. PayPal along with all major credit cards will be accepted. Tickets can also be purchased via telephone by calling 1-919-338-1486. Tickets are $70 per person and a few premium tables are available for $950 seating 10. If you know anyone looking for a Mortgage please read this and forward
http://goldboot1911.blogspot.com/
Because of the rate of foreclosures as well as fraud and predatory lending in the mortgage industry there has been some radical changes in the past week. This will affect the availability of 100% financing as well as other specific specialty loans. For more information click the following link:
http://ml-implode.com/
This will help in knowing the status of lenders that have gone out of business and allow you to make necessary changes and give you an update on what’s going on in the market place. I send this because we have seen lenders close without warning, completely pull loan programs off the market after signing without notice. IF YOU ARE BUYING RIGHT NOW PLEASE GIVE THIS LINK TO YOUR LOAN OFFICER! This website was given to me by my title company who are checking daily to see who is still in business. We are expecting some major changes in the next few months so please keep yourself as informed as possible. Thank you for taking out the time to read this.

Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Blending experience with imagination helped formulate the basis of, and inspired the author, T. H. Moore, to write The End Justifies the Means. The novel is uniquely creative fiction, but an equally honest representation of his life and challenges. The story is staged within the inner-sanctum of Camden, New Jersey where the undercurrents of treachery, bribery, and money laundering, fuel a family's revenge against the city's political elite.
About the Author
Tarik H. Moore is a Southwest Philadelphia native who relocated to Camden, New Jersey at the age of ten. Primarily raised by a single mother, he managed to remain on the perimeter of the illegal lifestyle that claimed the lives and souls of many in the area where he grew up. Tarik is an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and earned a Bachelor of Science from Morgan State University. His career as an Information Technology Consultant and Real-Estate investor has provided the opportunity to travel to places such as England, Sweden, France, Spain, and Brazil as well as several places in the United States. Blending experience with imagination helped formulate the basis of, and inspired him to write The End Justifies the Means. The novel is uniquely creative fiction, but an equally honest representation of his life and challenges. Tarik is the proud father of one son, Jason, and currently resides in Woodlynne, NJ where he is working on his next novel Cyber Sex.

Excellent Book!!!
I just finished reading 'The End Justifies The Means'. I must admit that I was not looking forward to the last chapter... I did not want the book to end. This book is outstanding and rich with images that I can totally relate to. I only opened the book twice and it was hard to close it the first time and I only did so because I had to. I knew that I should not open it again until I was ready to read to the end because, I would not be willing to put it down till the end. It is well developed, well organized, cohesive, and real, on the mark, real, fast paced, real... did I mention that it was totally on the mark and real? On the last page, I read that the author will be publishing another book and I can’t wait to read it.
LaVerne, A reviewer, 01/18/2007
The Best Book This Year
This was a great book that I bought on Sat. and was finished by Monday early evening. I would highly reccommend this book to everyone. I started reading Zane's book, and stop reading that to read this book and now I am still reading Zane's book, which I started days before. I can not wait until the next book.
Monique Keith, A reviewer, 12/19/2006
The Page Turner of the Year!!
From the streets of Philadelphia to the mean streets of Camden, the author brings you the page turner of the year. It will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Make sure go get this book. You won't regret it.
Kimberly, A reviewer, 12/12/2006
A captivating, must-read...
“The End Justifies the Means” is riveting and exhilarating. This novel is a must read! Once you begin reading—you won’t put it down. T.H. Moore’s “The End Justifies the Means” loosely depicts the struggles of a young man and his family while growing up in Camden, New Jersey—a city known for its high crime. The tale takes you through the journey of a young African-American male, who triumphs over negative influences and whose family overcame many obstacles in this poverty stricken community.
Michele, A reviewer, 12/07/2006
Definite Must Read
This really was a well put together book. It outlines the real life situations that we face. Its easy to relate to, perhaps you have friends who mirror the characters in the book... perhaps you yourself. The suspense is great and you wont be disappointed. Its a great read... a definite must read!

It is well developed, well organized, cohesive, and real, on the mark, real, fast paced, real... did I mention that it was totally on the mark and real? On the last page, I read that the author will be publishing another book and I can’t wait to read it.

The Best Book This Year
This was a great book that I bought on Sat. and was finished by Monday early evening. I would highly reccommend this book to everyone. I started reading Zane's book, and stop reading that to read this book and now I am still reading Zane's book, which I started days before. I can not wait until the next book.

The Page Turner of the Year!!
From the streets of Philadelphia to the mean streets of Camden, the author brings you the page turner of the year. It will have you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. Make sure go get this book. You won't regret it.

Definite Must Read
This really was a well put together book. It outlines the real life situations that we face. Its easy to relate to, perhaps you have friends who mirror the characters in the book... perhaps you yourself. The suspense is great and you wont be disappointed. Its a great read... a definite must read!

The “TRUE SCHOOL” ERA... 18 years of music, culture, and film.
Every aspect of this era (1980-1998) is being ignored by mass media, as if it does not exist.
For many of us, those were the best years of our lives; our first loves, our high school experiences, our college years, etc.
In addition, the music, movies, and culture that came with those memories has also been pushed to the side.
Every aspect of mass media is for the "Tom Joyner" generation (ages 40+) or the 106 and Park Generation (ages 21 and under).
It is time for the "Spike Lee/House Party/Different World/New Jack City" generation to stake our claim in the marketplace,
by observing the accomplishments and the culture impact our OUR generation.
It is OUR time...
We ain't old school...
We ain't new school...
We are TRUE SCHOOL!
EARLY ARRIVAL STRONGLY SUGGESTED!

BACKGROUND
As a high school senior in Douglas County Georgia, Genarlow Wilson had a 3.2 GPA and multiple offers of football scholarships to competitive universities. His whole future should have been ahead of him. Instead, Genarlow Wilson has spent the last two years in prison for the “crime” of a consensual sex act with a fellow high school student.
FACTS OF THE CASE
At age 17, during a New Year's Eve Party, Genarlow Wilson engaged in consensual oral sex with a schoolmate who was three weeks from her 16th birthday.
Genarlow and 5 of his peers were brought to trial for sexual acts at the party involving the 15 year old girl. Genarlow was the lone defendant who refused to accept a 5 year sentence as a plea bargain because he could not bear to be labeled for the rest of his life as a “sexual predator” for an act which was initiated by the alleged victim.
Because the age of consent in Georgia is 16, a jury was forced to find Genarlow guilty of aggravated child molestation.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, approximately 47% of 9th through 12th graders have already had sex, and over 14% have had sex with 4 or more partners. While these staggering numbers suggest that perhaps as a society we should take a greater role in educating our teenagers about the risks of teen sexual behavior, unless we believe that millions of our teenagers should be imprisoned, Genarlow should not be singled out and forced to waste his youth for a consensual sex act.
At around the same time that Genarlow was sentenced, a high school teacher was convicted of having sex with a student. The white female teacher was sentenced to just 90 days. Genarlow received a mandatory sentence of 10 years.
Under the archaic Georgia law, it was a more serious crime for teens less than 3 years apart to have oral sex than intercourse. If there had been intercourse instead of oral sex, Genarlow would have been convicted of a misdemeanor and received a much lighter sentence.
The Georgia legislature has modified the law to make oral sex the lesser misdemeanor; however the law did not free Genarlow because it was not retroactive.
Georgia State Senator Emanuel Jones has courageously introduced Georgia Senate Bill 37 which, if approved by the Legislature, would give the court discretion to, at last, free Genarlow Wilson.
It is a waste of tax dollars to imprison Genarlow Wilson for his victimless crime, depriving him of the chance to earn an education and his own livelihood.
The community and the State of Georgia would be better served to have Genarlow Wilson in an institution of higher learning than a penal institution.
RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
The sentencing of Genarlow Wilson is evidence of a justice system that is broken and more beholden to the interests of prison-builders than to the well-being and rehabilitation of individuals and communities.
The NAACP seeks to free Genarlow Wilson today and to call permanent attention to the fact that state resources are squandered and the community pays when such promising lives are ruined. It is time to rethink our justice system from the ground up and make a radical switch from punitive to restorative justice.
Restorative justice is an alternative to the traditional justice system which implements consequences at the community level that ensure safer neighborhoods, truly penitent offenders, restitution for victims, lower recidivism rates, fewer families torn apart and no lives needlessly sacrificed to the blind and ineffective rhetoric of being “tough on crime.”

Bro. Pinc Gators in Houston, Texas March 31
PINC GATOR, Humble/Houston, Texas, US, Dont wait until I die to support me. ... PINC GATOR's
For over a decade, Pinc Gator has been inspired and motivated by music. The ladder has always been a major part of his life, due to his father’s musical capabilities and involvement. At anytime of the day the “Bishop” was sure to have a record serenading throughout the house, whether Gospel or Blues. That kind of explains why a there is a soulful sound to Gators voice whenever he briefly caters to his singing side.
Gator realized rap was one of his niches when he was always able to hold an audiences attention whenever in a freestyle cipher. Pinc always wanted to “flow” he never wanted to write his lyrics down. His brother always reiterated “write your lyrics down” in Gator’s ear. After a few years of being stubborn, Gator finally took his brothers advice. Once writing became a part of his routine, his craft actually began to grow. Although he began writing, many times throughout the years, Gator had tried to be naïve to the fact that music, not just rap was his craft. Family and close friends were always supportive, but it was the people he did not know that sort of solidified the potential factor.
Whether music or just ordinary life, there has always been bullsh** to deal with. People’s procrastination has always been a hindering in part of Gators success. Folks have a mind frame of tomorrow. That tomorrow attitude has created a “Bitter Over Time” attitude for Pinc Gator. Therefore he never gets too low or too high based on somebody’s words. He just believes it when he sees it.
Enough of that, Nu Spit Entertainment is responsible for promoting music, and comedy, in spontaneous, rebellious, and innovative ways in music and other forms of entertainment etc. When a baby is born, that is Nu Spit, when a new song is created, that is Nu Spit, when two people intertwine in conversation, intimately, or brainstorming, that is Nu Spit The name Nu Spit was actually derived while Gator was watching a clip of a well known artist in hip-hop on the internet. While the artist was doing his interview, he made a brief comment to the host that contributed to the name Nu Spit.
Many people want to know how the name Pinc Gator derived. Many people think they know how the name derived, but here it is. Just joking with you, the origin of the name will never be relinquished. Keep an eye open for the stampede of Nu Spit, and in the meantime, “Go Wash Yo Mouth Out”.
Some of Pinc Gators musical influences include: Prince, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Rev. James Cleveland, Sam Cooke, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, Rakim, OutKast, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Jay-Z, Ludacris, Eminem, Scarface, you get the gist of it.
Come out and support. For booking information call: 832-492-2025, or fill out the contact form. You can also check me out at www.myspace.com/nuspit or you can
