The Phi Psi chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. held their third Miss Omega Scholarship Pageant on April 13 in the multipurpose building.Nine ladies competed for the crown. The contestants were Sharnelia Johnson, a freshman elementary education major from Dallas; Helenia Carbajal, a freshman nursing major from Oklahoma City; Esachia Dollison, a sophomore biology from Oklahoma City; Randi Okray, a sophomore broadcast journalism major from Dallas; Brittini Jagers, a junior English major from Dallas; Marlette Chapel, a sophomore mathematics major from El Reno, Okla.; Jasmine Lewis, a freshman biology major from Chicago.; Jamela Carrell, a sophomore criminal justice major from Oklahoma City; and Tamara Hughes, a biology major from New Orleans, La.
